Moe Shahheidari is an Iranian-American artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He studied at the University of Georgia Lamar Dodd School of Art. His work is influenced as much by the inventiveness of early hip hop culture as it is modern and postmodern styles. Elements of pop art, abstract expressionism and surrealism often infuse in Moe's work, which strives to not only express his own ideas but also evoke his viewer’s thoughts on people, places and cultures.
